Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. 

Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do.

Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Manusia punya banyak tempat buat berpijak, entah pijakan itu mulus, terjal atau bisa jadi curam. Udah satu tahun terakhir ini, aku berpijak pada pijakan yang... aku gatau gimana nge-deskripsi-in-nya, terlalu complicated. Aku bahagia ada di pijakan tersebut pada awalnya, semakin kesini semakin jauh, aku nyadar kalau spot yang aku pijak ga semenyenangkan dulu, dari yang mulus mulus aja, entah karena pelapukan jenis apa jadi mengeropos dan terjal kaya gini. Anehnya, kenapa yang ngerasa kalau pijakan itu udah ga menyenangkan cuma beberapa orang doang, banyak yang masih nyaman berpijak disitu. Apa orang orang yang masih berbahagia dipijakan itu adalah orang yang selalu bersyukur, mau menerima apa adanya, atau justru orang orang yang mau bertahan dan memaksakan dirinya agar tetap berpijak. Ah, mungkin aku aja kali ya yang berlebihan, aku coba buat berpijak ke pijakanku lagi, coba buat nelusuri dunia pijakan tersebut, aku coba buat bertahan, tapi ternyata aku sadar, aku emang gabisa hidup di pijakan itu. Itu alasan paling sederhana yang bisa kalian tangkap kenapa aku ingin banget pergi ke pijakan tersebut dan ngelanjutin hidupku ke pijakan lain. Semoga analogiku cukup jelas ya.

Tau ga, manusia perlu diberi jarak biar bisa ngehargain betapa berharganya arti kebersamaan.

Aku cuma mau bilang, jangan suka jadi pretend-er. Semakin kalian dewasa, harusnya kalian semakin sadar, hidup ga cuma buat nurutin gengsi, gengsi takut terlihat jelek, gengsi takut terlihat ga kompak, gengsi segala jenis macam dari gengsi. Percuma kalian terlihat baik dimata orang lain kalo dengan ngeraih kebaikan itu kalian harus menyakiti perasaan orang di deket kalian sendiri. Kejujuran itu lebih dari sekedar mahal harganya. Jadi tolong, hargai setiap keputusan yang teman kalian buat. Selalu ada alasan kok kenapa manusia bertindak sesuai apa yang mereka rasakan, pikirkan dan lakukan.
